Hi, I’m Shannon Sarkar.

I’m a floral designer, as well as a professor and licensed mental health therapist. Over the past two years, floral design has grown from a personal curiosity into a true creative practice. What began as a hobby slowly turned into dedicated study through classes, hands-on experimentation, and designing for intimate gatherings, events, and weddings. As I continued creating, flowers became more than something beautiful to arrange. They became a medium for expression, storytelling, and mood.

My design style is contemporary at its core, with an emphasis on moody, sculptural compositions that feel intentional yet organic. I’m deeply inspired by garden-style movement, negative space, and a sense of quiet drama, while still loving designs that feel whimsical, romantic, and a little undone. I’m drawn to rich tones, layered textures, and florals that feel expressive rather than overly traditional.

I love collaborating with clients to help bring their vision to life, whether that’s designing florals for a wedding, a special event, or a meaningful gift. While inspiration images are always welcome, each arrangement is ultimately interpreted through my own artistic lens. Floral design is art to me, and every piece I create is meant to feel considered, emotive, and one of a kind.

If you’re drawn to florals that feel refined, intentional, and thoughtfully designed, I would be honored to create something beautiful with you.
